THC-Infused Pasta Sauce
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 28- ounce can crushed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon JAM infused olive oil. Click here for the recipe.
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 8 ounces cooked pasta
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sweat until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic, then the dried herbs, and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and heat to a boil, then reduce the heat to maintain a low simmer. Season with salt and pepper, sugar, and the balsamic vinegar, then cook until thickened, 15-20 minutes. Add the infused olive oil, stirring to combine, then remove the sauce from the heat and melt in the butter.
