CBD-infused Homemade Lemonade

Ingredients
 
 

  • Simple Syrup
  • 9 lemons about 1 ½ cups of juice, or more as needed.
  • 7 cups ice-cold water ice as needed.
  • 1 lemon sliced into thin rounds for garnish.
  • CBD tincture of choice.

Instructions
 

Make Simple Syrup:

  • Combine 1 ½ cups granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Make lemonade:

  • Begin by squeezing the juice and pulp from the California lemons. Set the juice and any pulp aside. Discard any seeds. Pour 7 cups ice-cold water into a pitcher. Stir in lemon juice and pulp, then add your sweetener of choice to taste. Start with ¾ cup and go up from there by taste. Stir the mixture until it’s well combined. Adjust the sweetness and tartness to your liking. Lemonade can be stored in the fridge for about 5 to 7 days without ice. Since ice will dilute the mixture, it's best to add it right before serving.

Infuse homemade lemonade with CBD and serve:

  • Add ice and lemonade to a glass. Use a dropper to measure in the desired dosage of CBD. Stir well to combine using a small whisk or spoon. Serve immediately.
